  Summary

Strike Back: Project Dawn consists of five two-part stories across ten episodes. The series follows Section 20, a secret branch of the British Secret Intelligence Service , which is trying to stop Latif, a Pakistani terrorist, who is plotting "Project Dawn". John Porter , the main character of the first series, is captured by Latif's men while trying to figure out Latif's plan. In the first two episodes, Section 20 sends Michael Stonebridge and Damian Scott to find and rescue Porter and uncover Latif's plans. Their first lead sends the team to a hotel in India, which is later seized by terrorists. Winchester said of the premise; " are trying to figure out whether or not he has his hands on WMDs or he knows where they are or whether it is a ploy to try and distract everyone from something else he is doing."

In the next two episodes Section 20 set up base in Cape Town, South Africa to stop Daniel Connelly, an IRA terrorist possibly in league with Latif. Scott goes undercover as a computer hacker with the gang to break into a secure facility. The next two episodes takes place in the Sudan, where Scott and Stonebridge aid weapons dealer Gerald Crawford, who reveals he knows the name of a British spy working for Latif, to rescue his daughter Clare Somersby from Janjaweeds. Next, Scott and Stonebridge travel to Kosovo to exchange a terrorist named Rana for hostages to Hassani, a trafficker; one of the hostages is John Allen, Latif's spy. In the last two episodes, Section 20 learn of the nature of Project Dawn through excursions to Chechnya and Budapest, Hungary; using suicide bombers to detonate canisters of VX nerve gas from their bodies.
