Nicki Clyne (1983)

Type :

Nicki Clyne is a Canadian actress best known for her role as Cally Henderson Tyrol on the Sci-Fi Channel television program Battlestar Galactica.

 early life
Clyne graduated from Hugh Boyd Secondary School in Richmond, British Columbia, in June 2000. She has also attended courses at the University of British Columbia and Simon Fraser University, both in the Vancouver area. She has a younger brother named Adam.

She has been featured in two episodes of the popular podcast Tiki Bar TV, and presented an episode of HypaSpace. She stars alongside Lance Henriksen, Danielle Harris, Bill Moseley, and AFI's Davey Havok in the "illustrated film" series Godkiller.

In 2003, a three-hour Battlestar Galactica miniseries was created based on the original 1978 series. Clyne played the role of Specialist Cally, a Flight Deck Crewman in the Colonial Fleet, though this role was little more than an extra part with a few speaking lines. A weekly series was commissioned in a collaborative effort between the Sci Fi Channel and Sky TV soon after, and Clyne continued her role in the series, becoming a regular character as the show progressed. Her character is not based on any particular character from the original 1978 series.
