Catherine Steadman is an English actress, best known for playing Joan Bulmer, best friend and betrayer of Catherine Howard in the fourth and final season of The Tudors.

  Biography  

 career
Steadman made her screen debut in 2007 playing Julia Bertram in Company Pictures Mansfield Park. In April 2007 she played Izzy in the original production of Polly Stenham's play That Face at the Royal Court Theatre for which she was praised by critics. She reprised the role in the WestEnd transfer. The cast of the play was nominated for the 2008 Laurence Olivier Award for Outstanding Achievement or Performance in an Affiliate Theatre.

In 2009 she played Daisy, Will McKenzie's former babysitter and love interest in series two of E4's The Inbetweeners. She also appeared as Miss Barnes in the feature film Princess Kaiulani and as Elodie in Dust

In 2010 she starred opposite Jacqueline Bisset in the Hallmark movie An Old Fashioned Christmas. She will be seen in the forthcoming films Salmon Fishing in the Yemen and Outpost Black Sun

She trained at the Oxford School of Drama.
